It happens! You go to turn on your computer and.........

You get a black screen that says something about invalid system disk. Unable to start Windows. The last time you ever burned anything, your babies first pictures or important documents, to a disk for backup was.. well you can't remember or never. As important as it is to back up your precious data (see our residential page for a backup plan) I won't preach about this right now but we can help with the current problem an unreadable hard drive.

We'll first of all check to make sure that you don't have a floppy disk popped in because if your computer is trying to boot a floppy it will act similar and then we'll get to the serious stuff.
